The lift has asymmetric arms mounted on symmetric columns for the widest possible drive thru width. This car lift has a clear floor which makes it great for transmission work. The Direct Lift OH8000 is an overhead style two post car lift with symmetric columns and asymmetric arms. The Direct Lift OH 8000 was previously sold as a 9000 LB capacity lift by Direct Lift and Quality Tool and Equipment. The design of this lift has been copied by many Chinese lift manufacturers in the last five years. Quality Tool and Equipment Sales and Direct Lift are flattered to have this lift copied by many manufacturers, but we are very concerned that these same manufacturers are rating this lift with a 9000 LB. or 10,000 LB. lifting capacity. This lift design will easily raise 10,000 LB., BUT according to the widely accepted Industry standards, the Direct Lift OH 8000 is correctly rated an 8000 LB.

The OH 8000 includes a symmetric column configuration to offer the widest drive through possible. The OH 8000 overhead above ground lift has asymmetric arms to allow easy access to both sides of the vehicle.
The OH 8000 also includes two additional lifting pads that offer an infinite amount of lifting points for the rear lift arms.

The Direct Lift OH 8000 includes a complete set of solid peg type truck adapters. The mounting hardware is also included in the complete above ground lift package. The OH 8000 above ground is powered by a 220 volt power unit that can be mounted on either side of the lift. The Direct Lift OH 8000 has a dual point safety release system.
